Really nice, new building. The poor man's Cajun fish was delicious. So good, we returned on Saturday for the prime rib, which was also delicious! We had a great time talking with the bartender, cook, and customers. We'll definitely stop in again when we're in the area.

Stopped in for a drink and a Fish Fry to go...traditional Old Fashioned is to die for! the best Fish Fry (Walleye) water excellent and a nice size portion. The "Mushroom Girl" is the best!

Great place to meet friends. Support the VFW by joining in on Bingo twice a month. It's lots of fun! The food is great!

Who knew!? Great pizza and fine conversation (with a veteran and vet's wife). The facility is newer and very attractive. Worth a stop to check it out!

Food was Fantastic as always. Service is a little slower due to staff shortages so it can easily be overlooked. Some of the best priced drinks and huge sizes. Super friendly staff and environment. Highly recomended... We have nearly everything on the menu over the past 6 months and have enjoyed them all. Great Cod fish dry, Boasted chicken, Prime rib sandwich, burgers and huge Pizzas made fresh.

Merrill, Wisconsin's brand new VFW Post has been a long time coming, almost too long, but it has been worth the wait. The building is beyond beautiful. It has a large hall. The bar is a very generous size. Parking is ample. And now they are able to offer food! Come here for your next Friday Night Fish Fry or any other day of the week for some tasty vittles. Check website for times before you go.

Waitress was very friendly and personable. The food was delicious. Only issue I had was the walleye I ordered had not been deboned. I know it's walleye, but when the majority of the customers are older they may end up lodging one in their throat. That's the only concern I have.
